2. Terms of sale

Purpose

These terms govern the services offered by Prepapolytech, in particular the courses, lessons, coaching and academic preparation services aimed especially at students preparing for EPFL.

Prices

The applicable prices are those shown on the site at the time of registration:

• On-site course (individual): 950 CHF
• Online course (individual): 690 CHF
• Duo offer (2 participants, same week): 1,700 CHF

Prices are shown in Swiss francs (CHF), VAT not applicable. Prepapolytech reserves the right to change its prices at any time, without affecting registrations already confirmed and paid.

Duo offer

The Duo offer lets two participants register together for a total of 1,700 CHF, a saving of 200 CHF compared with two individual on-site registrations. It cannot be combined with any other discount. Payment of 1,700 CHF is made by a single participant ("the payer"), who commits on behalf of both and confirms having the second participant's express agreement to register them and accept these terms on their behalf.

Cancellation of the entire Duo offer (both participants): more than 14 days before the start — full refund of 1,700 CHF to the payer; 14 days or fewer before the start — no refund, for any reason, including withdrawal of the second participant. The payer is the sole contact of Prepapolytech for payment, refunds and disputes related to the Duo offer. Any split of the cost between the two participants is solely their private arrangement.

Cancellation by one of the two participants: the Duo offer is automatically terminated for both. The remaining participant may keep their registration at the individual price of 950 CHF; the difference (750 CHF) is refunded, less any administrative fees, only if the cancellation occurs more than 14 days before the start. If 14 days or fewer before the start, no partial refund is granted and the remaining participant keeps their spot at the Duo price with no adjustment.

Online course

Prepapolytech offers a fully online, live course at 690 CHF, subject to the same terms as the on-site course, with the following specifics: sessions run in real time by video conference and are never pre-recorded; Prepapolytech is not liable for technical issues on the participant's side (connection, hardware, software) and no refund is granted on that basis; in the event of a major technical issue attributable to Prepapolytech making a session impossible, it will be rescheduled or compensated as defined by Prepapolytech.

Registration and payment

Registration is made online via the Prepapolytech site. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. No banking data is stored by Prepapolytech.

Minors

The course may be attended by minors (under 18). In that case, registration and payment must be made by the participant's legal representative (parent or guardian), who commits in the name and on behalf of the minor and confirms having parental authority or legal guardianship, accepts these terms in their own name and on behalf of the minor, and assumes full responsibility for the obligations arising from the registration.

Cancellation by the participant

More than 14 calendar days before the start of the course: full refund. 14 days or fewer before the start: no refund is due, except by exceptional agreement of Prepapolytech. These rules apply to all options (individual, duo, online). For the Duo offer, the specific rules above prevail in case of conflict.

Cancellation or change by Prepapolytech

Prepapolytech reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change a service in case of major impediment, insufficient number of participants, organisational problem or force majeure. If cancelled by Prepapolytech without an acceptable alternative, amounts already paid are refunded in full.

Attendance

Any absence, late arrival or non-participation gives no right to a refund, except by express agreement of Prepapolytech.

Liability

Prepapolytech undertakes to deliver its services with care and professionalism. The services are an obligation of means, not of result. Prepapolytech cannot guarantee success in any exam, competition, admission or assessment, which also depends on external factors such as attendance, personal work, exam conditions and the participant's involvement. No refund is granted in case of academic failure.

Force majeure

Prepapolytech cannot be held liable for a delay, change or inability to perform a service in the event of force majeure or an event reasonably beyond its control, including illness, accident, major technical failure, administrative decision, unavailability of premises or interruption of third-party services. In such cases Prepapolytech may offer a postponement, an adapted service or, if necessary, a refund for the service not performed.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Swiss law. In case of dispute, jurisdiction lies at the registered office or domicile of the site operator, subject to applicable mandatory rules.

3. Privacy policy

Prepapolytech may collect the following data: first name, last name, date of birth, postal address, email, phone number, information submitted via the contact or registration forms, and any other data needed to organise the courses. For the Duo offer, the second participant's data (name, email, chosen week) is also collected, submitted by the payer, who guarantees having obtained the second participant's consent. The second participant has the same rights of access, rectification and deletion, by writing to info@prepapolytech.ch.

Data is processed to manage contact requests and registrations, organise the courses, communicate with participants and their legal representatives, handle administration and teaching follow-up, issue confirmations and invoices, send emails about Prepapolytech's services (study tips, free resources, offers and promotions), and improve the services and the site. Legal bases: performance of the contract, Prepapolytech's legitimate interest, and consent (marketing — revocable at any time).

Personal data is neither sold nor transferred to unauthorised third parties. It may be processed by technical providers acting on behalf of Prepapolytech — in particular the host, form tools, payment services (Stripe) and communication tools — as needed to deliver the services. Data is kept for as long as necessary to manage the relationship, deliver the services, comply with legal obligations and defend Prepapolytech's rights. Any person may request access, rectification or deletion of their data by writing to info@prepapolytech.ch. The site may use cookies or similar technologies for operation, security, audience measurement or to improve the user experience.

4. Terms of use

The site is accessible subject to interruptions needed for maintenance, updates or technical constraints. Users agree to use the site lawfully and in accordance with these terms, respecting the rights of Prepapolytech and third parties; any fraudulent or abusive use is prohibited. Intellectual property: all elements of the site and of Prepapolytech's services are protected by applicable intellectual property rules (copyright, trademark and distinctive-sign rights), including all teaching materials (handouts, sheets, exercises, answer keys, videos, mock exams, texts and diagrams), the structure, text, graphics, code and design of the site, and the name "Prépa Polytech" / "Prepapolytech", the logo and the visual identity, which are Prepapolytech's distinctive signs. These are the exclusive property of Prepapolytech or its rights holders. Without Prepapolytech's prior written authorisation, they may not be copied, reproduced, downloaded, recorded, distributed, shared, published, translated, adapted, resold, rented or exploited, in whole or in part and by any means, beyond strictly personal and private use. Sharing course materials with non-registered third parties, posting them online, and any use of the name, logo or visual identity without written consent are prohibited. Any unauthorised use engages the civil and, where applicable, criminal liability of its author and may be prosecuted; Prepapolytech reserves all of its rights. Any disrespectful, disruptive or inappropriate behaviour towards teachers, speakers, assistants or other participants may lead to immediate exclusion without refund. Prepapolytech strives to provide accurate, up-to-date information but gives no guarantee as to its permanent accuracy or completeness; users remain solely responsible for how they use it. Prepapolytech is a private coaching and academic preparation organisation, not affiliated with, approved by or sponsored by EPFL or the Polytech France network. Prepapolytech reserves the right to change this legal notice, terms of sale, terms of use and privacy policy at any time; the version published on the site is the one that applies at the date of consultation.
